Lose Belly Fat With the Proper Exercises
When it comes to the best exercise to lose belly fat you need to consider whole body exercises. Old school workouts focused mostly on specific muscle groups however in this article I will emphasize more on whole body neuromuscular fitness workouts. This program is designed to transform you from a fat-storer to a fat burner.
You may notice that most people try to lose weight through machine exercises and low intensity cardio. Typical programs include slow jogging, bench presses, sit-ups and curls. This approach may build some fitness and improve appearance however it is not the best exercise to lose belly fat.
How to Reduce Fat, Increase Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance and Cardio-respiratory Fitness
• Do whole body exercises (dead lifts, snatches, presses, kettle-bell swings)
• Do low intensity cardiovascular exercises (Brisk walking)
• Train intensely
• Vary Your Exercises
• Use good technique
• Build rest into your program
• Do high intensity interval training ( high speed exercises)
• Do exercises within your capacity
Sample Workout Based on the Above Principles.
Monday (Repeat circuit 1-3 times without stopping)
20 Push ups
10 standing long jumps
20 squats with hands on hips
20 kettle ball swings
Skip rope rapidly for 2 minutes
Walk briskly for 30-60mins; use a vigorous arm swing as you walk.
Wednesday (Repeat circuit 1-3 times without stopping)
10 pull-ups
10 dumbbell-thrusters
10 overhead squats
10 kettle bell snatches (10 for each arm)
2 minutes standing and spinning on bike, maximum intensity
Jog 20 minutes at 70 percent effort
Friday (Repeat circuit 1-3 times without stopping)
15 burpies with push-ups
20 deadlifts
Sprint in place ( high knee, fast arms). 1 minute at maximum intensity
20 lunges with arm curls 920 with each leg)
20 push –presses with barbell
2 minutes standing and spinning on bike, maximum intensity
Walk briskly for 30-60 minutes; use a vigorous arm swing as you walk.
